Privacy Policy

This policy explains what repent.bio collects, why, how it is stored, and how you can control or delete it. We only collect what is needed to run the service.
Information we collect
- Email and password sign-up: your email address and a salted, hashed version of your password (never the password itself).
- Sign in with Discord: your Discord ID, username, avatar and, if Discord has verified it, your email address.
- Sign in with Google: your Google account ID, name, verified email address and profile picture. We do not access anything else in your Google account.
- Your page: everything you choose to publish on it. Pages are public unless you make them unlisted or private.
- Visit statistics: device type, browser, country (from Cloudflare's network, not GPS), referrer and which of your links were clicked, tied to a salted visitor hash and never a raw IP address. Shown only to the page's owner.
- Cookies: a sign-in cookie and an anonymous visitor cookie used only to avoid double-counting views. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it, including Google user data
Only to create and secure your account, sign you in, show the page you build, send account emails, prevent abuse and keep the service running. Data received from Google is used solely to create and sign in to your repent.bio account. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. repent.bio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information or share it with advertisers. We use Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, Turnstile), Resend (account email), and Discord or Google when you choose to sign in with them.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can download a copy of your data and permanently delete your account and everything tied to it from Settings at any time. You can revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children
repent.bio is not directed to children under 13.
